    The Beginning

    We started our activity initially with the name of Barij Osareh Co. since 1994 as a consulting company in the food and beverage industry in relation to additives (essential oils, preservatives, antioxidants, natural food colors, etc.) and have been the exclusive agent of various companies in the field of raw materials. With the expansion of food industry companies and the increasing need of these producers for various raw materials in the country, the need for a domestic supplier for this type of raw materials became more and more important. Therefore, in order to eliminate the dependence of producers on foreign suppliers, our shareholders decided to found a production unit of raw materials in the food and beverage industry named Babolab Food Industry in 2000.

    The first phase of Babolab Food Industry was founded in 2000 with the installation of modern and full automatic machines with the aim of producing a variety of Carbonated Soft Drink Base, Emulsions, Fruit Compounds and Flavoring used in the food and beverage industries. In 2004, Babolab succeeded in concluding a contract with the Swiss company “Givaudan” for the production of various emulsions. This company is one of the largest producers of flavors and essential oils in the world with more than two centuries of experience in the food industry. Therefore, with the support of the current knowledge and technology of this company and besides having experienced and specialized personnel in our R&D and Innovation units, we have been able for the first time in the country to produce and present special fruit Emulsions and Compounds for juice and fruit drinks industries.

    By identifying the needs of the market and also to expand the range of our products, we decided to strengthen our position as a leader in the supply of raw materials for the beverage industry by gaining the required knowledge and technology to produce Carbonated Soft Drink Base. In addition to these products, the emergence of a new product in the market of Iran, named Energy Drinks, which attracted the attention of many consumer groups, including youth and athletes, led to the idea of producing Energy drink Compounds for producers of this type of beverage.

Introducing a new product named Ripple Ice cream Sauce, with its freezing resistance, was able to create a revolution in ice cream industry of the country.
